Reading Text: “My Trip to London”

Last year my family and I went to London. It was my first time in the UK, and I was very excited. We visited many famous places: the Tower of London, the London Eye and the British Museum. I took a lot of photos and even bought some souvenirs for my friends.

Since that trip, I have learned many new things about British culture. I have watched several documentaries about London and have read a book about British history. I have also started a small collection of postcards from different countries.

My younger brother didn’t like the trip very much. He lost his backpack on the second day, and we spent half a day looking for it. But in the end we found it near a café, and he was happy again.

We have never forgotten that journey because it was full of adventures. And we have already planned our next family trip — this time to Scotland!
